In continuing to develop the ideas of the Rational Fold, this work presents a 6:7 ratio in all four quadrants. Drawn on top of this folded geometry is a 7:3 ratio cross in graphite (an octave above the 6:7 of the title). The work is suspended from a galvanized nail at a single point at the intersection of this cross allowing the orientation of the work to be dictated by gravity, mediated by the folded geometry, and weight of the oil stick.
