Quadrilateral Starfield Symmetry A:L II is an experiment in the perception of color over time. The work consists of seven arrangements of a quadrilaterally symmetrical spiral composition in black and blue rubber-based holland inks. The collection of compositions, letterpressed on paper and editioned, are a direct response to my work with projected light and the possibilities of this work to exist as a physical object.
This painted object version of the work was the first completed. Quadrilateral Starfield Symmetry A:L II (Homage) and was followed by a series of limited prints.
