This work documents, in 57 identically exposed color photographs, the symmetrical timings of the moments of civil twilight leading up to sunrise and following sunset on August 21, 2017, the day of the total solar eclipse through much of the US. Each photograph was taken with identical exposure and color settings of the same slice of Brooklyn sky. The photos were taken 61.5 second apart and are annotated by hand with their time stamp.
