In just a couple of weeks (October 18th, to be exact), the amazing pianist R. Andrew Lee will be premiering my newest piece, The Four Pillars Appearing from the Equal D under Resonating Apparitions of the Eternal Process in The Midwinter Starfield, at the ATLAS theater in Boulder CO. I'm in Colorado right now rehearsing with Andy, and the piece is becoming something truly beautiful, with whirling clouds of overtones soaring above the piano under a new installation of Oscar H Scott's Apparitions projection.
Tickets are available now for this, the first piece of mine being performed in my hometown since 2007's Separate Haven. I'm really thrilled to be back in Colorado premiering this work under the stars that inspired it.
