Chantal Downing commissioned an evening length work for assorted pianos, electronics, and music boxes to accompany her MFA presentation.
The work, B Therefore Perfect, utilized melodic fragments of the music box tunes - predominantly My Way - in both harmonic and melodic ways as in many of my other works of this period.
