The World Premiere of Descending The Starfield Symmetry

Tomorrow night, Scott Worthington will premiere my newest work Descending The Starfield Symmetry at Art Share LA.

This has been a wonderful process working with Scott on this piece and the results are expansive and a bit of a departure. The first half of the piece is a slow build on only the lowest possible D of the bass that builds to a wild beating crescendo during the second half. Certainly the most intense and extreme piece I've written in some time, although it's very much tied to my early work I Am Slowly... which I wrote all the way back in 2006.

The incredible folks at Art Share were kind enough to share this image of Scott's bass in the new video environment, Quadrilateral Starfield Symmetry T:O Base 7:172 written for Scott.

I hope to see you tomorrow.
